Title / diploma
After successful graduation, you will earn the diploma and grade Master of Science Management and the title MSc.
Modes of Study
The MSc programme can be studied in part-time mode only, a fixed two and a half year period. It consist of 39 taught classes, once every two weeks. Besides the taught classes, the study load is an average of 10 hours per week.
Start programme
We currently offer two start dates per year; in March and September.
Location
The MSc is offered in several cities/centres: Utrecht, Amsterdam and Breda (if the number of students are sufficient to start a group).
How is the programme taught
The programme is a combination of lectures, small group sessions and online support. The lectures are on Monday afternoon and Monday evening. The small group sessions are being held on Monday mornings. In addition further support is provided through the Markus Verbeek Business Academy’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
Emphasis is placed on developing professionals who are able to transfer management concepts into practical application. A wide variety of activities are used to support learning, including:
• Interactive lectures
• Video and written case studies
• Individual and group exercises, both face-to-face and online
• Presentations by visiting experts
• Engagement with a range of professional and academic materials
• Management skills sessions including presentations, board room discussions and simulations
Literature
All modules have state of the art Dutch and English literature. The taught language is Dutch.
Assessments
All assessments need to be written in English.
Investment fees
Te fees for the MSc programme: € 18.800,- (without costs for literature and dinner)
Discount and other arrangements
If a student enrolls for the full programme and payment of the invoice in one time, the student receives a discount of € 1.800,- on the admission fees.
